So.... does anyone believe this will be a good thing in the long run?
I guess it's going to even things out a bit for next year but the claims of making everyone slower are hard to believe unless they go with Dunlop or Michelin.
Will it slow down development? Will all teams be on an equal playing field? or will the top teams get the better tyres?
Ultimately this has got to effect the road market too. Would we be getting multi compound tyres filtering into the road / track day market if they weren't being developed at the top level?
